Terms of Use

Agreement

By using TokenPeek you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site.

The service

TokenPeek provides free, browser-based utilities for inspecting JWTs, transforming Base64 text, computing hashes, and generating UUID v4 values. The product is offered as free forever, without accounts, paid plans, or advertising on the tool pages.

Local processing

Tools are designed to run in your browser. You are responsible for the data you paste, including tokens that may contain personal or confidential information.

No signature verification or cracking

TokenPeek does not verify JWT signatures, does not accept signing secrets for verification or forging, and does not provide brute-force or key-cracking features. Decoded output is for inspection only.

Acceptable use

You may use TokenPeek for lawful purposes. You must not attempt to disrupt hosting, abuse infrastructure, or use the site to facilitate unauthorized access to systems or accounts.

No warranties

The site is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, including accuracy of decoding, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted availability. Hash and Base64 helpers are utilities — choose algorithms appropriate to your threat model (prefer SHA-256 over MD5 for security checks).

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operators are not liable for damages arising from use or inability to use TokenPeek, including reliance on decoded token contents.

Changes

We may update these terms. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance.
